The story behind why we wanted to start this project is because we feel that in today's day and age, people are too afraid to ask for help from one another, whether because of pride or because of fear of judgment. We hope that this app can change that and eventually lead to a world where people ask others for help without hesitation, and others are more than willing to provide that help without any reward to themselves.

The problem that we're trying to solve is that sometimes it can be hard to find help near you when you run into a specific problem, whether its a problem that you do not have experience in solving or a problem you don't have the time or energy to deal.

The solution is to develop an app that crowdsources help from nearby people. The idea is that you can go onto this app and insert what you specifically need help with, where the app sends out a message to all the nearby users of the app to notify them that there's someone in the area that needs assistance, the user will be informed on what the task is, and the distance between both people. The helper can then accept the request form the person in need. The person who initially requested their assistance can then see detailed descriptions of all the people in the area that are willing to assist them, and can then choose whom they think will be best for this.

According to the dictionary, breaking boundaries may be defined as "integrating connections, communications, conversations, and community into our thinking and doing." Our idea relates to this year's Expo theme, "Breaking Boundaries" as we plan on providing a service that'll enable the community to help one another. We want this app to change college life and make it easy to go through the day to day activities with no worries. We believe that this app can make it so that all the efforts made by colleges to keep their communities safe and truly make students seem welcome on their campuses and the college area.
